Well, I just finished reading I am Legend and it's really different from the movie! And it was really good too! And Matheson played with the idea of switching bodies alot in different scary ways. Like in I am Legend ( the story) the hero became the enemy, and the 1 human race was the monster and not the 2nd generation.Also in the story Dance of the dead, if you read very carefully, during the event where the dead woman on the stage was on the heroine( peggy's table) the loopy went into Peggy's body just by staring into her eyes and took over! Leaving Peggy trapped in the innermost part of her own mind like a butterfly trapped in a jar, with nowhere to go............I love Richard Matheson! He is a Master!!!!
